Adgensys Portugal

The Protection of Personal Data of our Website Visitors is important to ADGENSYS. We are committed to safeguarding such data in accordance with the applicable laws, as exemplified throughout this Policy.

This Data Protection Policy does not extend to third-party websites that may be accessed via links disclosed on this Website. Accordingly, ADGENSYS is not legally responsible for the privacy practices used at those websites.

Personal Data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“Data Subject”). An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by their name, an identification number, location data, or an online identifier. Such a person is also one who can be identified based on the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity.

ADGENSYS collects and processes Personal Data of the Data Subjects in accordance with the applicable data protection laws, and only for the purpose of facilitating the use of this Website and the contact opportunities chosen by the Data Subjects. The Personal Data obtained through this Website is not used for any individual evaluations.

ADGENSYS reserves the right to evaluate pseudonymous or anonymized datasets. These can be used for the purpose of system security. These can also be used for the need of running statistics (considering the number of users, page views, etc.), and thus to improve the functioning of this Website.

ADGENSYS will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of personal information related to the Data Subjects. It will store all the personal data on its secure servers.

Like many site operators, ADGENSYS collects so-called “Log Data” (information that Data Subjects’ browsers send whenever they visit our Website). These Log Data may include, but are not limited to, information such as the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, browser version, navigation through this Website, time and date of the visit, as well as the time spent on individual pages.

The information is stored and used internally only for website traffic analysis. In the cases where these data are not evaluated, they will be deleted immediately after the end of a session. If the Data Subjects provide unique identifying information on forms displayed by this Website (for example, related to their name, or address), they will be used for statistical purposes only, and will not be published for general access.

ADGENSYS does not use Cookies in its digital mailings or on its Website.

ADGENSYS reserves the right to disclose information directly received from and about the Data Subjects to any of its employees, officers, agents, suppliers or subcontractors, as well that obtained by our website analytics to conduct an internal website traffic analysis by them, insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes as set out in this Data Protection Policy.

In addition, ADGENSYS reserves the right to disclose such personal information to the extent that it is required to do so by law, in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings, and to any person who we reasonably believe may apply to a court or other competent authority for disclosure of that personal information where, in our reasonable opinion, such court or authority would be reasonably likely to order disclosure of that personal information.

Except as provided in this Data Protection Policy, ADGENSYS will not provide personal information about the Data Subjects to third parties.

The Data Subjects residing in the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA), are entitled to exercise the following rights:

  1. The Right of Access. The right to obtain from ADGENSYS the confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning the Data Subject are being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data and the information such as the purpose of the processing, categories of the processed data, and the recipients of such data.
  2. The Right to Rectification. The right to obtain from ADGENSYS the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning the Data Subject.
  3. The Right to Erasure (“Right to Be Forgotten”). The right to obtain from ADGENSYS the erasure of personal data concerning the Data Subject in the circumstances where the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected.
  4. The Right to Data Portability. The right to receive the personal data concerning the Data Subject, which they have provided to ADGENSYS, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to which the personal data have been provided.

ADGENSYS may update this Data Protection Policy if that would be required under the applicable laws. The Data Subjects are therefore advised to consult this page occasionally to ensure they are familiar with the Policy.
